Barbering has been part of my life since I was approximately 15 years old.
1. Roger’s His & Hers Barbershop — Roger
* Located on Rogers Avenue
* Started around age 15–16
2. Larry Love Barbershop — Charlie
* Worked there at 16 years old
* Attended Van Arsdale High School from 1996 to 2000
* Studied Building Trades
3. The Jiggy Spot — Will
* Located on Granite Street
* Worked there around age 16–17
* I was still attending Van Arsdale High School and studying Building Trades
4. Sugar Hill Barbershop — Craig and Rob
* Located on Broadway
* Worked there around age 18 during my college years
* Attended Long Island University from summer 2000 until February 2002
5. First Impression Hair Salon
* Located in Downtown Brooklyn
* Worked there around age 22
* At the same time, I was working as an electrical apprentice with IBEW Local Union No. 3
I began providing house-call barbering services when I was 20 years old. At that time, I charged approximately $20–$25 per house call. I have continued providing house-call services from age 20 until today, giving me approximately 24 years of house-call experience and nearly 30 years of overall barbering experience.
